MESSAGE FROM SETANTA SHOULD EASE CONCERNS

Plenty of soccer and rugby fans have been a little anxious due to the financial problems at Setanta Sports.

What will it mean for Setanta Canada? Will they continue to air Barclay's Premier League matches? If not, what do I do?

Well Setanta has posted a statement on their website that should make Canadian subscribers feel better.

As we've mentioned on Full-Time, Setanta Canada is together with Rogers Media. The Score owns the rights to Barclays Premier League action in Canada. Meaning, Setanta Canada/Rogers acquires the games from the Score.

While the Setanta collapse in Europe is sad news, it does appear that Setanta Canada will continue to operate "business as usual."
